I work on two broad verticals (1) to improve human-reptile relationships, focussing on reducing snakebite and (2) increase public engagement and awareness for the conservation of herpetofauna. To do this, we use behavioural science tools to design interventions that will nudge safer spaces for humans and snakes. We also run the Reptiles of India citizen science portal that looks at being a repository for reptile-related information and a source to meet and connect with like-minded individuals. Going forward, we are looking at making it easier to introduce lay people to herpetofauna and are looking to collaborate with designers, ecologists, artists, activists, etc.
