Anuj Shinde
I am widely interested in biodiversity informatics, which covers biogeography, systematics, and the use of citizen science to monitor biodiversity. I have a specific interest in amphibians and reptiles. I am involved in science outreach and communication with HerpClub, wherein we popularise Indian herpetology and make the field more accessible to interested naturalists. Currently, I am conducting research in evolutionary ecology, where I am looking into questions of species competition and niche differences. In the future, I hope to explore ecological and conservation-related topics using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
